For over two decades now, journalists have chosen the International Bike of the Year (IBOTY): the best motorcycle of the year.

Fifteen motorcycle magazines from all over the world will gather to elect the bike that, according to them, deserves the award of best motorcycle of 2008. Each can choose from all the motorcycles they have tested through the year.

For the second time in 21 years of IBOTY history, you too have the opportunity to choose your own International Bike of the Year. It's easy and will only take a minute. On this website every motorcycle fan in the world can fill in his or her personal data and choose three favourite 2008 motorcycles.

Voting is very easy. Just fill in the form with your personal data and elect your three favourites from the lists below. The first motorcycle gets five points, the second gets three points and the motorcycle you put in third place gets a single point. When the voting closes, every country's top three is calculated and given the same amount of points as stated above (1st place five points, 2nd place three points and 3rd place one point). The motorcycle that gathers the most points over all of the the countries is then announced as the Readers IBOTY 2008.

Voting is possible from 01/12/2008 until 31/12/2008.

The results will be announced at the end of January 2009.
